Paul Oz - Ma'am

Created in 2022 in celebration of her majesty to celebrate 70 years of immaculate service to our country,  this limited-edition print, entitled Ma'am, is signed by the artist and comes with a numbered certificate (one of 50). Each canvas print is hand-embellished by the artist to create a unique, original copy of this highly acclaimed and sought-after work.

Paul Oz is an explosive British portrait artist – focused on the maximum 3D impact and energy created in thick oil painting. Commissioned by Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Theo Paphitis, Bruno Mars to mark his 24k Magic Tour, Muhammad Ali’s 70th, and by Sir Bradley Wiggins to celebrate his 2012 Olympics. Paul’s recent shows include '80’s Kid' in London, ‘The Art of Star Wars’ & live painting with Scuderia Ferrari at the Monaco GP.

Paul is now based in Cheltenham where he works as a full-time artist.  Having previously been working in software brand development, Paul dedicated his free time to developing his natural skill and unique style for which he is known today.
 

Paul paints portraits, among other subjects, but not as we know it. He piles on the paint to create rich, deep texture and huge visual impact. He aims to create a sense of explosive energy, movement, expression and 3D effect: Big, bold, powerful paintings that stop you in your tracks.

Neither does he just paint people, in fact he is the official licensed artist to Star Trek, Denis the Menace, Mr Men and Thunderbirds and has painted commissions for Sir Alex Ferguson, Theo Paphitis, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Red Bull, Pirelli and Marussia F1, among others.  A self-confessed Formula 1 fanatic, he exhibits frequently at Grand Prix around the world.

In the last few years Oz has created commissioned work for Instituto Ayrton Senna, Bruno Mars, Lewis Hamilton, Chelsea FC, The Rugby Players Association, Team Sky, Jenson Button, Max Chilton, Sir Alex Ferguson, Theo Paphitis, James Hunts family, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Red Bull, Pirelli, Monster Energy, CBS Television, Jake Humphrey, Wretch32 and JLS’s Aston, among many others…. and partnered with galleries, charitable organisations, leading rights holders and motorsport teams worldwide.

Despite his busy artistic life, Paul also manages to find time to fulfil his duties as Patron to It’s In The Bag (Testicular Cancer Awareness Charity).
